Romantic Turkish Man Or Online Dating Scammer - Dating and Romantic Relationships - Turkey Central

By CatMay 17, in Dating and Romantic Relationships. I would love some feedback on my situation. I recently went on Match. com and responded to a profile. I live in the United States. I found this man's profile attractive and responded. First thing that was odd although I've seen it before was that he put his email in his profile. I simply emailed him. I figured, why not.

I heard from him later that night and I sent him a photo. He has sent me many pictures of him, snapshots, not professionally done, etc. He then asked me to go to yahoo messenger as it would be easier for us to chat. I did. We have been chatting for almost two weeks now. I have not met him yet. I have emailed, texted, IM, and we have spoke on the phone briefly three times. He says he lives in the same area that I do.

I found out from speaking with him because it was not obvious in his profile or photo that he is from Turkey, but has been living in the USA for the last 6 years. He says he is an interior designer and works mostly on homes and yachts. He says he went out of state to Florida a few days ago to work on a yacht job there. He turkey online dating scams his phone doesn't work on the yacht very well and has called once and emailed and IM.

I don't know if he is for real or scamming me. I dated someone from Morocco a few years back and I know that men from other countries can be a lot more expressive and romantic. This "turk" I've met seems a lot like my ex. Very romantic, moving very fast, etc. He has sent me multiple photos and I did quiz him on the area we both live in and he seems to know the area. He sounds like he is from Turkey and does speak and type in broken English.

I am not disputing he's from Turkey as that seems on the up and up. What is odd is that he can't call much and he is out of town all turkey online dating scams a sudden. He claims he will be back into town this weekend and even sent me the airline confirmation email from the airline. I felt better then because that showed me he is where he said he was and he is coming back home to where he says home is.

Another thing that concerns me is that he has a LA phone number. He claimed he had to come in through LA to get all his paperwork in order when coming turkey online dating scams the country from Turkey.

I checked and there are only 4 Turkish consulates in the US and LA is one of them. I live in the Midwest, turkey online dating scams. He said he moved to my area because a Turkish friend of his lives here, but has now moved to Texas. I live in a bigger city and he claims to be living in a small town right outside the city. Unless you are familiar with the area, you wouldn't come up with this small town.

He has information about it and seems to know about turkey online dating scams area The phone number does throw me off. I did some searching online and found a Facebook page that matches what he says. I am thinking it is too good to be true. He is good looking and is very romantic and seems anxious to meet me. It turkey online dating scams be that he is out of town for a job and has some phone issues as he is on a yacht if he is to be believed.

I could not figure out what possible angle he's have for lying until last night. I already know from him he has a son still living in Turkey. He says he is bringing his son to the US before the end of the year because his ex-wife has died. Here's when things went wrong, turkey online dating scams. He said his son was in an accident. The hospital needed money.

He said his son is in boarding school in Turkey and lives with a Guardian. The Guardian had some of the money but not all. I played along and asked how much. He only said dollars and that he would pay me back when he was in town this weekend, but he had no way of getting any money there being on the ocean on this yacht.

I refused. I said I just couldn't do that because I had not met him yet. He seemed upset at first that I didn't trust him. I was fine ending things right there. He then said he understood. He didn't want that to be something that ended things with us and he would talk to me later. He said he felt bad for asking. I made it clear I had to meet him before I could trust him. I don't know if he was just not thinking straight because he was upset over his son if he has one or if he is scamming me.

Is he a scammer or is this just a cultural thing?? He had to know the scam was over, so why bother pursing things with me now?? Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you. He's a scammer as already said by TT and Cukur.

Why is he still pursing things with you, because he thinks that the game is not over, in fact it's just started, and that he will get as money out of you as he can in the end by telling your tear jerking stories. The will just be the start of what he wants and will be aiming for more. If things aren't adding up with phone numbers etc that probably means they aren't true. He may well know of that place, turkey online dating scams, doesn't mean he lives there, he could be scamming someone who lives there and has got to know about the area, turkey online dating scams.

He doesn't sound like he is an accomplished scammer, but never the less he may well succeed in his goal if you let him. The story about his ex wife and son don't ring true either. People like him do research to make their stories have a ring of truth thus making them more believable, turkey online dating scams. His reaction of being hurt is a normal one, don't fall for it.

You sound like an intelligent woman who has a heart, and it has to be said that you are the sort of person he is looking for. I think you are aware he turkey online dating scams a scammer, turkey online dating scams, yet hoping at the same time you are wrong.

Do yourself a big favor, keep away from this man and sever all connections to him immediately. He is a predator who will show no remorse if he takes every last cent from you. To be blunt he has no feeling about you, apart from how much he can turkey online dating scams from you. You are probably not the only female he is in contact with as it's a numbers game as they know they won't get money from everyone. Please take care. i have moved your thread to the Romantic Relationship section as the Meet and Greet section gets cleared out after a while.

Everything you have looked into up to now has checked out hasn't it? so why not just meet the guy, not on your own though but with a friend maybe and check him out some more? so check him out and whatever happens don't give him any money and you will soon get to the bottom of this, if you want to. Be very careful.

He is a scammer. I live in Turkey. And have done since OctoberI bought a place in Feb and made many trips here in all the school holidays before deciding to live here, and it has not taken me long to figure out this country and some of it's people. It's a very poor Country. I live in a tourist area, the winters are very difficult and a dangerous time. People get desperate. I hear about scams all the time, first hand. He is working, or so he says. The men here are very charming, persuasive, charismatic, and will see someone a bit green round the gills and prey on turkey online dating scams. Please heed people's advice.

I don't know how old you are, but please do not lend him money, turkey online dating scams.
